Kenneth H. Tuttle, 79, of 892 Southbridge Road, Warren, died Thursday at Harrington Memorial Hospital.
His daughter, Kathleen Cota, lives in Pittsfield.
Born 1926 in Warren, son of Kenneth W. and Margaret Wood Swann Tuttle, he was a lifelong resident of Warren and attended local schools.
An Army veteran of WWII, he worked for the former New England Telephone Company and the former AT&T for over 30 years before retiring.
Mr. Tuttle was a communicant of the Warren Federated Church.
He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion and the former Warren Grange.
He leaves his wife of 55 years, Barbara L. Swann Tuttle.
He also leaves two sons, Lawrence E. Tuttle of Monson, and Colby A. Tuttle of Upton; three daughters, Joyce E. Harris of Chesterfield, Kathleen Cota of Pittsfield and Joan M. Tuttle of Austin, Texas; five grandchildren, and a great-grandaughter.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Kenneth A. Tuttle, who died Thursday Dec. 29, 2006, will be held on Friday, Jan. 6 at 10 in PILLSBURY FUNERAL HOME.
Calling hours will be from 9 to 10 prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Palmer.
He was predeceased by a brother, Wilfred Tuttle. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Warren Ambulance Service or the American Heart Association, care of the funeral home, Old West Brookfield Road, Brookfield, MA 01506.
