Lawrence Bradford "Butch" Brent, 58, of 190 First St. died Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Berkshire Medical Center after being stricken with heart failure.
Born in Holyoke on June 27, 1947, son of Irwin E. and Alice Peterson Brent, he was a 1965 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
A four-year veteran of the Air Force, he was stationed in Texas and Alaska.
Mr. Brent was employed in custodial services for Janitek, where he had worked since the 1980s. Prior to that he was employed by the former Eaton Paper Company.
He enjoyed summering in Maine and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Texas Longhorns.
He leaves a sister, Beverly Brent of Shapleigh, Maine.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Lawrence Bradford "Butch" Brent, who died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005, is remembered as a very dedicated, loving and caring son and brother.
He will be sorely missed by all, including his wonderful friends in Pittsfield to whom his sister is deeply indebted for the friendship, love and care given to him.
At his request, there will be no services or calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pittsfield YMCA in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
