Mary A. Kirby

Mary A. Kirby, 90, of Hillsdale Drive, died Christmas night at her home.
Born in Pittsfield on May 14, 1915, daughter of Emil A. and Mary A. Brielman Wechter, she was a 1932 graduate of St. Joseph's High School in Pittsfield.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Kirby was employed many years ago at the former F.W. Woolworth store on North Street.
She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church in Lenox.
She enjoyed flower gardening, singing and making her own dolls and doll clothing.
Mrs. Kirby and her husband, William E. Kirby, were married in St. Joseph's Church on July 5, 1937. Mr. Kirby died June 2, 1993.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Anne Kirby and Carol M. Kirby, both of Lenox, and one sister, Jessica E. Parks of Dalton.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral of Mary A. Kirby, 90, who died Dec. 24, 2005, will be Wednesday at 9:15 from ROCHE FUNERAL HOME followed at 10 by a liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Ann's Church, celebrated by the Rev. Christopher J. Waitekus, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday evening from 5 to 7. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Lee Regional Visiting Nurses Association or to St. Ann's Parish Hall Fund, both in care of the Funeral Home, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA 01240.
Mrs. Kirby was predeceased by her brothers Joseph A. Wechter and John L. Wechter.
