Allen Johnson Jr., 43, of Newport, N.C., formerly of Pittsfield, died Sunday, Nov. 13, at Carteret General Hospital in Newport.
Born in North Adams, he was the son of Mary Johnson Dicorsi and the late Allen Johnson Sr.
Mr. Johnson was employed by Maola Milk Company in Morehead City, N.C., until he retired in 2000 due to health problems.
Besides his mother and her husband, Joseph Dicorsi of Newport, he leaves his partner of 24 years, Kevin Stockley of Newport, and two sisters, Mary Ellerbee of Great Barrington and Tina McFee of Bloomington, Minn.,a brother, Leroy Johnson of North Adams
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Allen Johnson Jr., who died Nov. 13, 2005, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at MUNDEN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with the Rev. Fred Simpson officiating.
A graveside service will be held in Pittsfield at a later date. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Munden Funeral Home. Memorial cards may be sent to 515 Tom Mann Road, No. 26, Newport, NC 28570. Arrangements by Munden Funeral Home, Morehead City, N.C.
Mr. Johnson is also survived by 10 nieces, six nephews, three great-nieces, and four great-nephews.
