Priscilla W. Caverly, 90, of 46 Robbins Road, Keene, N.H., died Wednesday evening after a period of failing health.
Born in Pittsfield on Feb. 4, 1915, daughter of Manton A. and Clara Grippen Wood, she graduated from Pittsfield high School.
In 1935, she graduated from Lasell College in Newton.
While living in Pittsfield, Mrs. Caverly worked at the former Berkshire County Savings Bank. She also worked for Travelers Insurance Company in Norfolk, Va., and Boston.
She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Keene.
She enjoyed knitting, cooking and working at annual church fairs. She was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and Atlanta Braves.
She and her husband, Milton L. Caverly, were married in 1967. He died April 4, 2001.
She leaves two daughters, Karen Seigenberg of Wrentham, and Kimberly O'Connell of Keene, and five grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Private services for Priscilla W. Caverly will be held Monday at FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 49 Court St., Keene, with the Rev. Peter Coffin, rector of St. James Episcopal Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Monadnock View Cemetery, West Keene. There are no visiting hours. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Monadnock Humane Society, P.O. Box 678, West Swanzey, N.H. 03469.
She also leaves two sons-in-law, Daniel Seigenberg and William O'Connell, and five grandchildren, Kaitlin Seigenberg, Alexandra Seigenberg, Emily Seigenberg, Brian O'Connell and Kerry O'Connell. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Wood.
