Ruth Elizabeth Fahey, 85, of 154 California Ave. died Sunday at Albany Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Jan. 25, 1920, daughter of August and Frieda Ungewitter Radke, she was a 1938 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Fahey was a homemaker.
She was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church and a member of the Pittsfield Senior Center.
She enjoyed line dancing.
She and her husband, Lawrence James Fahey, were married May 3, 1941. He died Feb. 11, 1987.
She leaves two sons, Lawrence J. Fahey, Jr., of Epping, N.H., and Martin T. Fahey of Pittsfield, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Ruth Elizabeth Radke Fahey will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Fahey may be made to the American Heart Association, in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Sean Fahey, who died April 19, 1983, at 4 years of age.
