Lorraine Beverly Reynolds, 69, of 22 Dwight St. died Sunday morning at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 24, 1935, daughter of Henry L. and Beatrice A. Champagne Munson, she was a 1953 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She was a communicant of St. Agnes Church.
Mrs. Reynolds was a bookkeeper by trade, retiring from the Central Berkshire Regional School District in 1995 after 20 years.
She also worked at the Berkshire Eagle from 1953 to 1962.
She enjoyed knitting, reading and crossword puzzles. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
She and her husband, James F. Reynolds, were married Oct. 14, 1961.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Kathy A. Reynolds of Dalton, and Karen M. Streeter of Pittsfield, and a brother, George L. Munson of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Lorraine Beverly Reynolds, who died Sunday, will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. from DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11, at St. Agnes Church, celebrated by the Rev. Christopher A. Malatesta, pastor.
Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, from 4 to 7, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Reynolds may be made to St. Agnes Church or to the American Cancer Society, both in care of the funeral home, 890 East Main St., Dalton.
Mrs. Reynolds also leaves nieces and nephews.
