Theodore James Warner

Theodore James Warner, 58, of 236 Columbus Ave. died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center after being stricken with an apparent heart attack.

Born in Great Barrington in May 1947, son of Doris LoveWarner and the late William Summers, he was raised by his mother and adoptive father, the late Paul R. Warner Jr. He attended schools in Pittsfield.

Mr. Warner was a volunteer for the former Western Massachusetts Labor Action, cutting firewood and assisting with food drives.

He also volunteered at the Christian Center. He enjoyed fishing and electronics.

Besides his mother, of Pittsfield, he leaves three brothers, Alan D. Summers of Pittsfield, Stephen P. Warner of Lehigh Acres, Fla., and Patrick R. Warner Sr. of Adams; and three sisters, Margaret J. Plankey of Dalton, and Linda B.K. Green and Elizabeth A. Sumner, both of Pittsfield.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Theodore James "Teddy" Warner will be conducted Thursday at 2 at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, by the Rev. Peter D. Boehringer, pastor of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

A calling hour will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 1 to 2. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.

Teddy is lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, his close friend and landlord, John Brazill, and his beloved cat, "Tinker."
