Joseph T. "Jay" Liverseidge III

Joseph T. "Jay" Liverseidge III, 58, of Granville, formerly of Pittsfield, died Wednesday at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
Born in Pittsfield on June 17, 1947, son of Eleanor Blaney Liverseidge and the late Joseph T. Liverseidge Jr., he graduated from St. Mary's Elementary School and graduated from St. Joseph's High School.
He received his associate degree in liberal arts from Berkshire Community College.
Mr. Liverseidge was employed by Specialty Bolts in Agawam and, before that, by AMPAD in Westfield.
He and his wife, the former Mary L. Brazee, were married 37 years.
Besides his wife and mother, of Pittsfield, he leaves a son, Jay M. Liverseidge of Springfield; a daughter, Janice Valeri of Lakeville; a brother, Robert M. Liverseidge of Pittsfield, and three grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services Joseph "Jay" T. Liverseidge, who died Aug. 17, 2005, will be Monday, Aug. 22, at 9:15 a.m. from SOUTHWICK-FORASTIERE FUNERAL HOME, 624 College Highway, Southwick, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 at Holy Trinity Church, 331 Elm St., and Rites of Committal at St. Mary's Cemetery, 203 Southampton Road, both in Westfield.
Jay's family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, Aug. 21, from 2 to 6. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners' Hospital Donations Department, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Tracy Liverseidge; a son-in-law, Carlo Valeri; a sister-in-law, Theresa Liverseidge; three cherished grandchildren, Brina Valeri, Colby Valeri and Andrew Liverseidge, and many nieces and nephews.
