Constance C. Stickles

Constance C. Stickles, 81, of Williams St., died Friday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Lenox on March 14, 1924, daughter of Llewellyn and Anna Sullivan Crosby, she attended local schools and was a 1941 graduate of Lenox High School, and also a graduate of Junior College in Boston.
Mrs. Stickles was employed by the city of Pittsfield as a clerk in the Assessors Department for 15 years, retiring in 1982.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Thursday Lunch Club.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and gardening.
She and her husband, Charles C. Stickles, were married Sept. 1, 1946. He died March 17, 1990.
She leaves two sons, Charles C. Stickles II of Peru and Robert C. Stickles of Scottsdale, Ariz., and two grandsons.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Mrs. Constance Crosby Stickles, who died Aug. 19, 2005, will be Tuesday morning at 9:15 at ROCHE FUNERAL HOME, to be followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Ann Church in Lenox celebrated by the Rev. John Bonzagni.
Burial will be on Wednesday at noon at the Church on the Hill Cemetery in Lenox. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Flowers are welcome. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home., 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240.
Mrs. Stickles is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Charles C. Stickles III and Aaron Stickles.
