Janet J. Kolbasook, 45, of 136 Wahconah St. died Tuesday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 7, 1959, daughter of Andrew Kolbasook and the late Joan Shaw Kolbasook, she was a 1977 graduate of Taconic High School and attended Berkshire Community College.
Ms. Kolbasook resided in Van Nuys, Calif., for 15 years and was employed as a bookkeeper for the state unemployment agency.
She enjoyed camping, doing crossword puzzles and music.
Besides her father, of Syracuse, N.Y., she leaves a son, Conrad Marquez Jr. of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two brothers, Craig A. Ostrander and Shawn M. Ostrander, both of the state of New York; four sisters, Lynn M. Howard of New Lebanon, N.Y., Tammy L. Ostrander of Bangor, Maine, Kim J. Lathrop of Cheshire and Kristy L. Bonnivier of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Janet Jane Kolbasook, who died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, will be conducted Friday, Aug. 12, at 1 at DERY FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Peter D. Boehringer, pastor of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Kolbasook may be made to Berkshire Community Action Council in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
Ms. Kolbasook also leaves an aunt, Arlene S. Wood of Pittsfield, and several nieces and nephews.
