Jean F. Richmond, 78, of South Glens Falls, N.Y., a native of Lenox, died yesterday at Eden Park Nursing Home in Glens Falls.
Born on March 30, 1927, daughter of Harold and Lucy Gilmore Felton, she graduated from Lenox High School in 1944 and, in 1948, from the University of Massachusetts, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Epsilon Sorority.
Mrs. Richmond was employed as a teachers' aide in the South Glens Falls School System for many years.
She and her husband, George Richmond, were married 54 years.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Scott Richmond of South Glens Falls.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- At Jean's request, there will be no calling hours. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in the Richmond family plot at Fairmont Cemetery in Lee.
Memorial donations may be made to the Charles R. Wood Cancer Center, 12 Warren St., Glens Falls, NY 12801, or the Moreau Emergency Squad, 1583 Route 9, Fort Edward, NY 12828. She also leaves a nephew and three nieces.
