Nellie A. Seremet, 93, a former longtime resident, died Saturday at Atria Manresa Assisted Living in Annapolis, Md., where she had resided since March.
Born in Fall River on June 8, 1912, daughter of Laurence and Appolonia Twarak Rembisz, she was a graduate of schools there.
She moved to Pittsfield after high school.
Mrs. Seremet was employed as a winder at A.H. Rice Co. for many years.
She was a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Her husband, Stanley P. Seremet, died Aug. 8, 1988.
She leaves a son, Peter M. Seremet of Annapolis, and three grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Nellie A. Seremet, longtime Pittsfield resident, died July 30, 2005 in Annapolis, Md. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 6, at 10:30 in St. Joseph's Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Shershanovich officiating.
Those attending may meet inside the cemetery gate at 10:15. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Eagle Santa Toy Fund in care of DWYER FUNERAL HOME.
She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
