Celia R. Hennessy

Celia R. Hennessy, 95, formerly of 379 East St., Providence Court, died yesterday at Springside of Pittsfield, where she had resided since October 2004.
Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 8, 1909, daughter of Joseph A. and Lucia Caparelli Ruscetta, she was a 1927 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Hennessy was employed by GE from 1927 to 1947 in the shipping department.
She then worked for the former Marchisio's Market for several years.
She was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church.
Her husband, Robert E. Hennessy, whom she married in 1941, died March 8, 1951.
She leaves several nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Celia R. Hennessy will be celebrated tomorrow, July 12, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, CSS, pastor. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be tomorrow from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St.
Survivors include three nephews, John Marchisio and his wife, Joyce, of Pittsfield, Mario Marchisio and his wife, Linda, of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., and Carl Ruscetta and his wife, Frigga, of Sandy, Utah; two nieces, Lucille Polson of Casselberry, Fla., and Dolores Pagano of Altamonte Springs, Fla., and several great-nieces and -nephews.
Celia was predeceased by two sisters, Palma Pagano and Mary Marchisio, and by two brothers, Carl and Antonio Ruscetta.
