Diane M. Vallone, 65, of 850 North Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach, Fla. died Monday, surrounded by family, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Pittsfield on Jan. 31, 1942, daughter of Earnesto and Phyllis Curletti Marchisio, she was a 1960 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She moved to Cocoa Beach in 1971.
She was a certified nurse's assistant for Home Healthcare with Hospice and for Our Savior Catholic Church parishioners in Cocoa Beach, before her illness in 1999. Before that, she was a master cosmetologist for 25 years.
She loved swimming at the Cocoa Beach Pool Complex with her Polar Bear teammates from 1974 until her illness.
Mrs. Vallone is survived by her husband of 41 years, Thomas Vallone.
She leaves a son, Dean Vallone of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; a brother, Lawrence Marchisio, and two sisters, Carolyn Miller and Margaret Robertson, all of Pittsfield.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Dawn Deana Vallone.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A local memorial service for Diane M. Vallone who died Monday, June 20, 2005, will be held at a later date. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 2, at the Church of Our Saviour in Cocoa Beach.

Diane was a dedicated Christian mother who loved watching her son grow through the Little League years. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She will always be in our hearts and happy memories.
