Marion L. Cimini, 84, of 27 Alexander Lane died Tuesday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on April 4, 1921, daughter of George and Emma Darrah Lester, she was a 1939 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Cimini was employed as a secretary for methods specialists at GE from 1940 to 1947.
She was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church.
She was a former member of the Wahconah Country Club in Dalton.
She enjoyed all kinds of needlework, including making dresses, quilts and rugs, and also enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Her former husband, Judge Frank W. Cimini, whom she married April 14, 1947, died March 31, 1994.
She leaves a daughter, Marion F. Cimini of Schodack, N.Y.; a son, Stephen F. Cimini of Pittsfield; a sister, Vera Beaudoin of Pittsfield, and two granddaughters.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Marion L. Cimini, who died May 24, 2005, will be held at a time and place to be announced at a later date. Following cremation, burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Lanesborough.
There will be no calling hours. Among survivors are her granddaughters, Francesca Periconi and Mia Cimini. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
