Jerry Edward Sondrini, 48, of 2680 Richard Road, Lake Park, Fla., a native of Pittsfield, died Saturday at home.
He moved to Florida in 2004.
Born on Jan. 4, 1957, son of John Sondrini and Jean Mosca Sondrini Guarda, he attended Pittsfield High School.
A master carpenter, Mr. Sondrini was employed by Gary Hieser Inc. in Florida as a contractor. Before that, he worked for George Morrell Siding and Roofing in Pittsfield.
While in Pittsfield, he was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church.
He collected souvenir cigarette lighters.
Besides his father and mother, both of Pittsfield, he leaves two sons, Joseph Sondrini and Robert Sondrini, both of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Carol Ann Sondrini of Cocoa Beach; three brothers, Geno Sondrini, Peter Sondrini and Joseph Sondrini, all of Pittsfield; three sisters, Joyce Sondrini, Diana Telladira and Debra Guachione, all of Pittsfield; his paternal grandmother, Marion Sondrini, and a grandson.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Jerry Edward Sondrini, who died Saturday, May 21, 2005, will be Friday, May 27, at 9:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 celebrated by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, CSS, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home, with a reception immediately following at the Polish Community Club, 55 Linden St.
Mr. Sondrini was predeceased by a brother, John Sondrini, in 1981. He leaves many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and his former wife, the former Gail Wallace. He enjoyed entertaining friends and had a great love for animals.
