Rose M. Brelsford, 96, of Mineral Spring Avenue, Pawtucket, R.I., died Wednesday at Miriam Hospital in Providence, R.I. She was the mother of Joan Andrews of Pittsfield.
Born in Pawtucket, daughter of Alfred and Malvina Tessier Cardin, she lived most of her life in Providence and was educated there.
She had lived in Pawtucket for 21 years.
Prior to 1968, Mrs. Brelsford had been employed as a saleswoman for the former Outlet Department Stores in Providence for 30 years.
She was a communicant of St. Edward's Church in Pawtucket.
She had been past president and treasurer of Club 400 of St. Germain Manor in Pawtucket.
Besides her daughter, she leaves two sons, William Brelsford of Pennsylvania and Samuel Brelsford of Maine; a sister, Ora Hebert of Pawtucket, and two grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Rose M. Cardin Brelsford died in Providence on May 4, 2005. Beloved mother of William Brelsford of Pennsylvania, Samuel Brelsford of Maine and Joan Andrews of Pittsfield. Residence Mineral Spring Avenue, Pawtucket.
Funeral will be Saturday at 10 from the LACHAPELLE FUNERAL HOME, 643 Main St., Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in St. Edward Church, Weeden Street. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be today, Friday, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
