June V. DosReis, 81, of 60 King St. died Sunday morning at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on June 11, 1923, daughter of Amancio and Bessie Scott DosReis, she was a 1941 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Miss DosReis was employed as a systems and data research analyst at the former Berkshire Life Insurance Co., now Guardian, for 37 years, retiring in 1994.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and active with its Harvest Table and United Methodist Women.
She also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity.
She leaves a sister, Anne Harrington of Ocean City, Md.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- June V. DosReis died in Pittsfield on Sunday, May 1, 2005. Funeral services will be Monday, May 9, at 9:15 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a service conducted at 10 at First United Methodist Church by the Rev. Dr. Roger Davis, pastor.
Burial will follow in Village Cemetery in West Stockbridge. Calling hours will be Sunday, May 8, from 2 to 5 at the funeral home. She leaves two nieces, Sandra Holmes and Linda Fennelly as well as two nephews, William Harrington and Edward Harrington. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard DosReis, who died April 2, 1980.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to United Methodist Women, June DosReis Memorial in care of First United Methodist Church, 55 Fenn St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
