Diane E. Freadman

Diane E. Freadman, 84, formerly of 35 Williams St., died Sunday at Life Care Center of Inverary in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., after a long illness.
She had resided there for a very short time.
Born in Lithuania on March 20, 1921, daughter of Rubin and Elsie Kubiliun Marmulstein, she immigrated to the United States as a young girl, settling in Hudson, N.Y., where she attended school.
She was a graduate of the former Miss Whitman School for Girls in Newark, N.J. She lived in Pittsfield for 31 years and moved to Florida in 1983.
Mrs. Freadman was a homemaker.
She was a member of Congregation Knesset Israel, Hadassah and City of Hope.
She enjoyed shopping and reading.
Her husband, Max Freadman, whom she married in 1952 in Pittsfield, died Nov. 21, 1983.
She leaves three grandchildren, including her caregiver, Rene Ziegler of St. Augustine, Fla., and a great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by a son, Joel Freadman.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Diane E. Freadman, 84, died Sunday, May 1, 2005. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 4 at Knesset Israel Cemetery on Peck's Road. Rabbi Lyn Liberman, spiritual leader of Congregation Knesset Israel, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to City of Hope or to the national Jewish Hospital for Asthma, both in care of DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
She leaves a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Ziegler of Las Vegas; a granddaughter, Rene Ziegler of St. Augustine, Fla.; grandsons, Eric Ziegler and Robert Ziegler, both of Las Vegas, and a great-granddaughter, Savanna Jolie Ziegler of Las Vegas.
