Agnes M. Yerazunis, 86, formerly of 32 Bradford St., died yesterday at Springside of Pittsfield, where she had resided since February 2004.
Born in Pittsfield on June 10, 1918, daughter of William and Marcia Vlattas Yerazunis, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School and the former Berkshire Business College.
Ms. Yerazunis was employed at one time as a medical receptionist for the late Dr. Charles Rosen.
She also had taught at Berkshire Business College.
She was a member of St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, where she belonged to its Ladies' Philoptochos Society and sang in the church choir.
She enjoyed cooking and baking for the annual church bake sale.
She leaves a son, George Saridakis of Groton.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Agnes M. Yerazunis, 86, of Pittsfield died April 30, 2005. Services will be held Tuesday, May 3, at 12:30 from DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield, followed by a service conducted at 1 at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church by the Rev. Father John Kostas.
Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 11:30 to 12:30, prior to the service. Agnes also leaves her daughter-in-law, Roseann Saridakis; her sister-in-law, Mary Yerazunis; a nephew, Dr. William Yerazunis, and her niece, Dr. Elizabeth "Betsy" Palis.
She was predeceased by a brother, the late Dr. Stephen Yerazunis. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
