Cecile M. Supple, 86, of 178 Lenox Ave. died Saturday evening at Berkshire Medical Center shortly after being admitted.
Born in Pittsfield on March 13, 1919, daughter of Cecil M. and Harriet Roberts Lord, she graduated from St. Joseph's High School in 1936 and from the former Berkshire Business College in 1937.
Mrs. Supple was employed by Berkshire Life Insurance Co. as an actuary clerk from 1937 to 1948.
She was a communicant of St. Charles' Church.
Her husband, Joseph W. Supple, whom she married June 19, 1948, at St. Charles' Church, died Aug. 30, 1981.
She leaves a son, Robert J. Supple of Pittsfield; a daughter, Ruth Healy of Pittsfield; a sister, Harriet Stolberg of Pittsfield, and seven grandchildren. Another son, Joseph C. Supple, died Sept. 29, 2004.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Cecile M. Supple, 86, died in Pittsfield on April 23, 2005. Beloved grandmother to Patrick J. and Jeremy J. Healy, Christina C., Jason J. and Pimpesan R. Supple, and Michael and April Jordan. Also the beloved great-grandmother of Daniel C. Healy, who died Dec. 9, 1994. Loving mother-in-law to Paul Healy and Thanom Supple.
The funeral will be Wednesday, April 27, at 10:15 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Charles' Church celebrated by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow, April 26, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to St. Charles' Church in care of the funeral home.
Mrs. Supple also leaves several nieces and nephews.
