Cynthia M. Chase, 62, of 22 Grove St. died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Ludlow on Oct. 5, 1942, she was the daughter of Royal and Mary Mentel Chase.
She had resided in Becket and Belchertown before moving to Pittsfield 18 months ago.
Miss Chase enjoyed attending Adult Day and Baraco programs.
An accomplished artist, she also enjoyed collecting photographs, animals and swimming.
She leaves her companion, Martha "Marty" Ryan of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Miss Cynthia M. Chase, 62, of Pittsfield, who died April 2, 2005, will be conducted tomorrow, April 6, at 7 p.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield by the Rev. William Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel in Lanesboro.
Burial will take place at a later date. Calling hours will be held prior to the service Wednesday from 6 to 7 at the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. An animal lover, she also enjoyed swimming, socializing and being with her friends.
She was predeceased by a sister, Florida Granger of Cummington.
