Theresa C. Vasko, 85, of 176 Columbus Ave. died Saturday at home.
Born in Liberty, N.Y., on April 11, 1919, daughter of John and Isabelle Kerney Sheahan, she was a 1937 graduate of Liberty High School.
She moved to Pittsfield 25 years ago.
Mrs. Vasko was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Charles' Church.
Her husband, Julius Vasko, died in 1972.
She leaves a daughter, Valerie B. Hart of Pittsfield; a sister, Patricia Whiffen, with whom she made her home; a grandson, and a great-granddaughter.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Mrs. Theresa C. Vasko, 85, died in Pittsfield on Saturday, April 2, 2005. Beloved grandmother to Timothy Hart and his wife, Streya; great-grandmother to Rinde Morgan Hart; beloved mother-in-law to Donald Hart and aunt to John Whiffen and his wife, Mary.
The funeral will be tomorrow, April 5, 2005, at 9:30 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Charles' Church celebrated by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor. Calling hours will be tomorrow morning from 8:30 to 9:30 at the funeral home.
If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of the funeral home.
