Marion Prentice, 86, formerly of Pittsfield, died Friday at Sweet Brook Care Centers.
Born in Pittsfield on July 11, 1918, daughter of Edward H. and Mona Jean Shankland Prentice, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Miss Prentice was employed as an office clerk at Western Massachusetts Electric Co. from 1940 until retiring in 1978.
She was a member of the Pittsfield Grange.
She leaves three cousins.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The service for Marion Prentice will be conducted tomorrow, March 29, at 1 at Pittsfield Cemetery by the Rev. Charles Young. There will be no calling hours. Friends are asked to meet inside the cemetery gate at 12:45.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association in care of WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
She leaves three cousins, Margaret Baker of Lenox, Craig Allen of Joppo, Md., and Priscilla A. Scherr of Tonso, Md., and her dear friend, Margaret Nash of Pittsfield.
