Dolores M. Passardi, 69, of 16 Walnut Lane, Essex Junction, Vt., formerly of Pittsfield, died Tuesday evening at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt.
She moved to Essex Junction in 1987.
Born in Adams on May 4, 1935, daughter of Francis and Helen Szukala Zepka, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High school.
A homemaker, Mrs. Passardi had, at one time, worked at the Hallmark Card Shop and for Passardi Realty.
While in Pittsfield, she was a communicant of Holy Family Church and, after moving to Vermont, she was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Burlington.
She leaves a son, Michael A. Passardi of Lanesboro; a daughter, Susan A. Charron of Williston, Vt., and two granddaughters. She also leaves her former husband, Floyd Passardi of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Dolores Passardi died peacefully on Tuesday, March 15, with her family by her side, following a five-year battle with lung cancer. She was a devoted mother and "Babci" to her two granddaughters, Amanda and Allison Charron.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Dolores Zepka Passardi will be held Monday, March 21, at 10 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Adams, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1 to 4 at the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Vermont Respite House in care of the funeral home.
