Bolene Pauline Klemanski

Bolene Pauline Klemanski, 93, of 630 Hancock Road died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center following a short illness.

Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 28, 1911, daughter of Kalis and Feliksa Chojnowski Klemanski, she attended local schools.

Ms. Klemanski had been employed by the former Wendell Hotel as a hostess many years ago, and also worked as a dental technician for many years.

She was a communicant of Holy Family Church.

An avid golfer, she was a member of the Pontoosuc Country Club.

She also enjoyed traveling, reading and gardening, and was an artist and gourmet cook.

She leaves a brother, Edward Klemanski of Pittsfield, and his wife, Frances P. Klemanski, who was her caregiver.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Bolene P. Klemanski, who died Feb. 12, 2005, will be celebrated Saturday at 9 at Holy Family Church by the Rev. Michael Shershanovich, pastor.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, which is handling arrangements. Ms. Klemanski also leaves a nephew, Edward J. Klemanski, and a niece, Linda Klemanski.

She was predeceased by a sister, Agnes Filipek, on Aug. 30, 1970.
