Barbara T. Daley

Barbara T. Daley, 60, of 18 Crane Ave. died Sunday afternoon at home after a long illness.
Born in Boston on July 3, 1944, daughter of Edward and Gladys Brown Hubbard, she moved to Pittsfield as a child and graduated from Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Daley was last employed by Berkshire Medical Center in the medical records department for 15 years. Prior to that, she worked at the former Sheaffer Eaton Corp. for 25 years until its closing in the late 1980s.
She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church, where she was very active in the annual bazaars, and serving coffee and doughnuts after Mass.
She enjoyed vacationing, picnics, volleyball and spending time at the beach.
She and her husband, Al Daley, were married Aug. 22, 1964.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Michael J. Daley of North Adams and Mark E. Daley of Dalton; a daughter, Lynn M. Robb of Dalton; two brothers, Ted Hubbard and David Hubbard, both of Pittsfield; four sisters, Marge Lannan, Judy Yon, Gloria Knappe and Donna Belanger, all of Pittsfield, and nine grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Barbara Teresa Daley, who died Sunday afternoon, Feb. 13, 2005, with her family by her side after a recent battle with cancer, will be Thursday, Feb. 17, at 8:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 9 at St. Joseph's Church by the Rev. Michael A. Shershanovich, pastor. Cremation will follow.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the Down Syndrome Resource Group of Western Massachusetts, both in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St.
She leaves her nine grandchildren, Brittany, Morgan, Courtney and Summer Daley, Hayden and Lily Robb, and Alexandra, Giana and Ethan Daley, as well as her daughters-in-law, Becky L. Daley and Tami Daley, her former daughter-in-law, Grace S. Daley, and her son-in-law, Aaron M. Robb.
She was predeceased by a brother, Albert Hubbard, and a sister, Patricia Vickery.
