Theodore E. Eksuzian

Theodore E. Eksuzian, 77, of 9 Dove St. died Friday afternoon at Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on April 17, 1927, son of Theodore and Frances Perego Eksuzian, he attended schools in Pittsfield and Lenox and received the Lenox Golden Glove award at Lenox High School.
Mr. Eksuzian was employed by GE as a logistics administrator in the ordnance department, retiring in 1989 after 39 years of service.
A Marine veteran of World War II, he served on Okinawa and was discharged as a corporal. He was a founding member of the former semipro Lenox Merchants baseball team, and a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners' clubs.
He was also a high school and college basketball official.
Mr. Eksuzian was a communicant of St. Charles' Church.
He and his wife, the former Lucie Marie Kergaravat, would have celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary May 15. They were married in St. Ann's Church in Lenox.
Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Mark S. Eksuzian of Shelton, Conn., Dean E. Eksuzian of Pittsfield and Daniel J. Eksuzian of St. Leonard, Md.; two daughters, Christine M. Germain of Westfield and Maria A. Davis of Danvers; a brother, Eugene Eksuzian of Pittsfield; a sister, Theodora Blais of Pittsfield; eight grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Mr. Theodore "Ted" Eksuzian died in Albany on Friday, Feb. 11. The funeral will be Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 10 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Charles' Church celebrated by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery in Lenox. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow, Feb. 14, from 4 to 7. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to St. Charles' Church or to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home. Beloved grandfather to Jennifer Conlon, Jason Eksuzian, Nicholas Connor, Andrew Eksuzian, Sarah and Katherine Eksuzian, and Alexandra and James Davis; loving great-grandfather to Kaley Elizabeth Conlon.
Mr. Eksuzian also leaves several nieces and nephews, and many friends and family members. He was predeceased by a sister, Annmarie Milne of Lenox.
