Antoinette Maria Peaslee, 71, of 128 Allengate Ave. died yesterday morning at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 21, 1933, daughter of Guido S. and Alice Albertini Bertoldi, she was a 1952 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Peaslee was employed by Canteen Food Service at GE's ordnance department for 30 years, retiring in 1995.
She had worked at the former Nilan's Bakery from 1952 to 1957.
She was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church.
She enjoyed gardening and Sunday rides with her husband.
She and her husband, Robert L. Peaslee, were married Jan. 27, 1960.
Besides her husband, she leaves a brother, Livio Bertoldi of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Antoinette M. Bertoldi Peaslee, who died Feb. 1, 2005, will be held Saturday at 8:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 9 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church by the Rev. Geoffrey Deeker, CSS, pastor.
Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, or to the American Diabetes Association, both in care of the funeral home. She is lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Edward F. Bertoldi, on March 22, 1985.
