Susan Nancy Levinsky, 44, of 2 Quail Run, Shelburne, Vt., died Friday at home after a long illness.
She was the wife of Mark Levinsky, a native of Pittsfield.
Born in El Paso, Texas, on Oct. 4, 1960, daughter of Stephen and Roberta Carlo Krawczyk, she graduated from the University of Vermont in 1982, and received her master's degree from Yale in 1985.
Mrs. Levinsky was employed by Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt., as a clinical improvement coordinator.
She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Shelburne.
She enjoyed spending time on Lake Champlain and Block Island, R.I.
She and her husband were married in 1985 in Milford, Conn.
Besides her parents, of Orange, Conn., and her husband, she leaves two daughters, Sarah Levinsky and Paige Levinsky, both of Shelburne; a son, Matthew Levinsky of Shelburne; a sister, Robin McManus of Newton; a brother, Navy Capt. S. Gregory Krawczyk of Alexandria, Va., and her paternal grandmother, Viola Krawczyk of Wallingford, Conn.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 10 in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association, 1110 Prim Road, Colchester, VT 05446; or to Care Management Department, Fletcher Allen Health Care, 111 Colchester Ave., Burlington, VT 05401.
Visiting hours at Ready Funeral & Cremation Service, South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Road, Burlington, will be Tuesday from 5 to 8. Susan was a wonderful, proud mother who cherished being with her children. She shared many happy times with her family on Lake Champlain and Block Island, R.I.
She also leaves her in-laws, John and Jane Levinsky of Burlington; and brothers-in-law Jonathan Levinsky of Burlington and Peter Levinsky of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.
