Elvira R. Maselli

Elvira R. Maselli, 93, formerly of 1229 Tyler St., died Thursday at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility, where she had resided for three years.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 22, 1911, daughter of Felix and Maria Biglino Mazzetti, she was a lifelong resident of Pittsfield and attended local schools.
Mrs. Maselli was a homemaker and a communicant of Mount Carmel Church.
She was predeceased by her former husband, Attilio Levante.
Her husband, Joseph Maselli, whom she married June 2, 1938, died Jan. 9, 1984.
She leaves three sons, Eugene Maselli of Pittsfield, Mark Maselli and Richard Maselli, both of Roswell, Ga.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Raymond Levante, on Nov. 11, 1994.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Mrs. Elvira R. Maselli died in Pittsfield on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005. Beloved grandmother to Glenn Levante, Karen Furey, Lisa Bond, Laurie Burdick, Robert Maselli and Cheryl Maselli. Great-grandmother to Gary and Gregg Levante and Benjamin Burdick.
Mrs. Maselli also leaves daughters-in-law Norma Levante, Eileen Maselli and Helen Maselli. Funeral services will be Monday with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Mount Carmel Church celebrated by Rev. Geoffrey Deeker, CSS, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the DWYER FUNERAL HOME, in her memory. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Emma Arpante and a brother, Adolph Mazzetti.
