Diana Mary Chojnowski, 79, formerly of 190 Brown St., died Thursday morning at Craneville Place in Dalton.
Born in Pittsfield on May 29, 1925, daughter of Napoleon Pellerin and Grace Couture Pellerin Royer, she attended Pittsfield schools.
A homemaker, Mrs. Chojnowski worked at GE at one time.
She was a communicant of St. Charles' Church and enjoyed growing flowers.
Her husband, Louis A. Chojnowski Sr., whom she married June 1, 1946, died April 27, 1996.
She leaves a son, Louis A. Chojnowski Jr. of Pittsfield; a daughter, Gracemary O'Connell of Pittsfield; a sister, Rita Pettibone of Southboro; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Diana Mary Chojnowski, who died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, will be tomorrow, Jan. 3, at 9:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at St. Charles' Church by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Chojnowski may be made to St. Charles' Church in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, 01201. Mrs. Chojnowski was predeceased by three brothers, Robert, George and Raymond Pellerin, and by four sisters, Blanche Fox, Irene Plumbo, Rosanna Daoust and Leah Bordeau.
She leaves four grandchildren, Caryn Sangiovanni, Kimberly Chojnowski, Stacy McKnight and Shannon Chojnowski, and four great-grandchildren, Aleah, Chance, Cantor and Charlotte Ray.
