Roland Gregor Rennie, 60, of 10 Riverview Homes died Friday at Berkshire Medical Center after a short illness.
Born in Pittsfield on Jan. 9, 1944, son of Gregor S. and Elizabeth J. Benham Rennie, he attended local schools and later obtained his general equivalency diploma.
Mr. Rennie had been employed by Phillip Morris as a truck driver for 25 years.
His wife, the former Kathleen V. Mosher, whom he married Oct. 2, 1964, died March 10, 2004.
He leaves two daughters, Julie Rennie of Pittsfield and Melissa Rennie of Dalton; a sister, Cheryl Mierzejewski of Pittsfield, and two grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- There will be no services for Roland G. Rennie. Calling hours will be tomorrow, Dec. 29, from 8 to 11 a.m. at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Among survivors are his granddaughter, Candace Rennie, and grandson, Mason Benoit, and several nieces and nephews.
In his memory, donations may be made to the donor's charity of choice. He was predeceased by a brother, James Rennie.
