Doris M. Koszelnik

Doris M. Koszelnik, 81, of 193 Elberon Ave., Rose Manor, died Sunday at Springside of Pittsfield, where she had resided for a month.

Born in Chazy, N.Y., on March 4, 1923, daughter of Emmet C. and Mildred VanDeusen Kingsbury, she moved to Berkshire County as a young child and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.

Mrs. Koszelnik was employed by the former England's department store, retiring when it closed.

During World War II, she worked at GE ordnance.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and volunteered at the polls during elections.

Her husband, Walter C. Koszelnik, whom she married May 14, 1949, died Jan. 5, 1958.

She leaves a son, Brian Koszelnik of Adams, and a brother, Ronald Kingsbury of Pittsfield.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Doris M. Koszelnik will be conducted Thursday at 11 at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Eric Dupee, pastor of United Methodist Church of Lenox. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. She was predeceased by two sisters, Barbara Wilner and Ethel Cullen. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews.
