Margaret E. Miller Reynolds-Poff

Margaret E. Miller Reynolds-Poff, 96, formerly of North Street, died Thursday at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility in Pittsfield, where she had resided since July 2001.
Born in Pittsburgh on Oct. 29, 1908, daughter of Thomas and Hannah Golden Madden, she was educated there.
She had resided on North Street for 18 years until entering Mount Greylock.
A homemaker, Mrs. Reynolds-Poff was a communicant of St. Agnes' Church.
She was a member of the Berkshire Benevolent Association for the Blind. Many years ago, she sang for the USO.
Her first husband, Arthur Miller Sr., whom she married in 1928, died in 1940.
Her second husband, Edward Reynolds, whom she married in 1944, died in 1957.
Her husband, Curtis Poff, whom she married in 1973, died in 1977.
She leaves a son, Arthur Miller Jr. of Pittsfield; two daughters, Nancy Dumas of Dalton and Patricia Fleming of Reading, 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Another daughter, Patricia Miller, died in June 1929.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Margaret E. Reynolds-Poff, 96, of Dalton, who died Dec. 23, 2004, will be held Tuesday at 9:15 from DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME in Dalton, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at St. Agnes' Church by the Rev. Christopher Malatesta, pastor.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 6 at the funeral home, 890 Main St., Dalton. She leaves a son, Arthur Miller Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Pittsfield, and two daughters, Nancy Dumas and her husband, Bill, of Dalton, and Patricia Fleming and her husband, Paul, of Reading, 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by another daughter, Patricia Miller, who died in June 1929, and two brothers and four sisters. She also leaves many devoted great-nephews and -nieces from Pittsburgh, where she grew up. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Berkshire Benevolent Association for the Blind in care of the funeral home.
