Donald Clarence Shepherd, 94, of 85 Otis Ave. died Thursday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on July 25, 1910, son of Clarence D. and Helen Busiere Shepherd, he was a graduate of Pittsfield High School and attended Rensselaer (N.Y.) Polytechnic Institute and Northeastern University.
Mr. Shepherd was employed for many years at GE in Pittsfield as a test technician, retiring in 1973.
His wife, the former Eleanor Marie Conrad, whom he married Nov. 22, 1931, died April 8, 1982.
He leaves two sons, Robert L. Shepherd of Dalton and Wayne A. Shepherd of New Ashford; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Mr. Donald C. Shepherd, who died Dec. 23, 2004, will be private and at the convenience of the family. Following cremation, burial will be in Ashuelot Cemetery in Dalton.
There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Dalton Ambulance Fund in care of BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226.
