Brianna Constance DiCarlo
December 20, 2004
Brianna Constance DiCarlo, 5, of 19 Chestnut St., died Monday afternoon at home from a brain stem tumor.
Born in Pittsfield on Aug. 30, 1999, she was the daughter of Donald E. DiCarlo Jr. and Bridget N. Quinn DiCarlo.
She attended St. Agnes' Church and enjoyed swimming, horses and going to Cape Cod.
She also enjoyed the Disney "Princess" movies, her recent trip to Disney World and family time with her cousins.
After Brianna was diagnosed with the tumor earlier this year, the community had rallied to help her receive the treatment she needed and to support her family. Neighbors had tied purple and pink ribbons, Brianna's favorite colors, around trees along Chestnut Street.
Besides her parents, she leaves two brothers, Nicholas P. DiCarlo and Mitchell T. DiCarlo at home; her paternal grandmother, Donna Kirby of Hinsdale, and her paternal grandfather, Donald E. DiCarlo Sr. of Stephentown, N.Y.
