Christiana Luise Rennie, 67, of 39 Carson Ave. died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Born in Marienthal, Germany, on Sept. 5, 1937, daughter of Lothar and Christine Geir Schultz, she attended schools there.
She emigrated to the United States in 1959 and became a citizen in May 1963.
Mrs. Rennie was employed by International Housewares' Chemex Division in Pittsfield as an assembly supervisor, retiring in 2003.
She and her husband, Russell R. Rennie, were married Oct. 12, 1957.
Besides her husband, she leaves four sons, William Rennie of Pittsfield, Robert Rennie of Kissimmee, Fla., James Rennie of Elgin, Minn., and Wayne Rennie of Dalton; a sister, Petronella Luppa of Germany, and five grandchildren. Another son, Sean Rennie, died in 1969.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Christiana L. Rennie, who died Dec. 12, 2004, will be conducted Thursday at 1 at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., by the Rev. William D. Furey.
Burial will be at a later date in Ashuelot Cemetery in Dalton. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
Mrs. Rennie, a devoted wife, loving mother and sister, will be deeply missed by her five adored grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Jonathan, Andrea and Jessica.
