Kaley Rose Mahoney Nicotra, 6, of Chestnut Lane died Saturday evening at home after a three-year battle with brain cancer.
Born in Boston on Nov. 1, 1998, daughter of Nicholas and Kelly J. Mahoney Nicotra, she attended Morris Elementary School.
She attended St. Ann's Church, and enjoyed dancing, singing and reading Disney princess stories, especially Princess Ariel.
Besides her parents, of Lenox, she leaves a sister, Bridget Colleen Nicotra at home; a brother, Nicholas Joseph Nicotra at home; her maternal grandparents, Francis "Moe" and Joan Lahart Mahoney of Lenox, and her paternal grandfather, Dominic Nicotra of Marshfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Kaley Rose Mahoney Nicotra, an angel on Earth and the youngest Missionary of Mercy for the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, was called safely from her home here to her home in heaven Saturday evening. A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Kaley will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 1 at St. Ann's Church in Lenox by the Rev. Christopher J. Waitekus, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. She is also survived by her godparents, Colleen MacDonald and Jim Marchioni, and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in Kaley's memory to the Jimmy Fund or to Ronald McDonald House, both in care of ROCHE FUNERAL HOME, 120 Main St., Lenox, 01240.
