Patricia May Donovan, 74, of 69 Nottingham Drive died Thursday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on May 1, 1930, daughter of James E. and Winifred Leahy Donovan, she was a 1947 graduate of St. Joseph's Central High School.
Miss Donovan was vice president of David J. Tierney Jr. Inc. from 1968 to 1997. She was previously employed by Hutchinson Construction and GE.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, was a volunteer for Elder Services of Berkshire County and served on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity.
She also enjoyed traveling.
She leaves two brothers, John J. Donovan of Pittsfield and Robert T. Donovan of Austin, Texas.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Patricia May Donovan, who died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, will be held Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 8:15 a.m., from DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Joseph's Church celebrated by the Rev. Michael A. Shershanovich, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, Nov. 29, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Miss Donovan may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or to Habitat for Humanity in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
Miss Donovan was predeceased by two brothers, James Donovan and William Paul Donovan, and a sister, Mary Kelly. She will be dearly missed by her 21 nieces and nephews and her 33 great-nieces and nephews.
