Alice Blanche Patenaude, 97, formerly of 7 Hamlin St., died Sunday at Springside of Pittsfield, where she had resided since July 1995.
Born in St. Dominique, Quebec, on Jan. 16, 1907, daughter of Wilfred and Rose Anna Brunelle Jodoin, she attended schools there.
She moved to Burlington, Vt., in 1927, then to North Adams, and to Pittsfield in 1958.
A homemaker, Mrs. Patenaude was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church and a member of its Ladies of St. Anne's Society.
Her husband, Joseph Bernard Patenaude, whom she married in September 1922, died March 25, 1981.
She leaves four grandchildren, severalgreat-grandchildren, and her nephew and caregiver, Marcel L. Archambault of Pittsfield. Her son, Leo Patenaude, died May 4, 1990.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Alice B. Patenaude, who died Nov. 21, 2004, will be Friday, Nov. 26, at 9:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at St. Joseph's Church by the Rev. Michael Shershanovich, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Church in care of the funeral home.
