PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Constance M. "Connie" Kelley, 69, of 41 South John St. died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Feb. 26, 1935, daughter of Nicholas and Lena Candilore Frieri, she was a 1952 graduate of Pittsfield High School and a 1953 graduate of the former Pittsfield Secretarial School.
Mrs. Kelley had been employed by GE and later Lockheed Martin, retiring in 1993 after 24 years of service.
She was a communicant of St. Mark's Church. An avid golfer, she was a member of the Berkshire Hills Country Club. She also enjoyed gardening and making quilts for her grandchildren.
She and her husband, Edward M. Kelley, were married Feb. 23, 1957, in Mount Carmel Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Kathleen A. Ronan and her husband, Brian, of Dracut, Christine M. Kelley of Pittsfield and Maureen A. Smith and her husband, Douglas, of Peabody; a sister, Mary Rizzardi and her husband, Mario, of Pittsfield, and three grandchildren, Heather A. Ronan, Luke P. Ronan and Cameron D. Smith.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Kelley will be Saturday, Nov. 27, at 8:15 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, 776 North St., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 9 in St. Mark's Church by the Rev. John Salatino, pastor. Entombment will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Following services at St. Joseph's Cemetery, the family will greet friends at the Berkshire Hills Country Club.
Calling hours will be Friday, Nov. 26, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund in care of the funeral home.
