James G. "Clarky" Clark

James G. "Clarky" Clark, 57, of 13 Evelyn St. died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center after a long illness.
Born in Pittsfield on July 30, 1947, son of Eugene R. and Ruth C. Crowther Clark, he attended Dalton schools, including Wahconah Regional High School, and graduated from Cape Cod Preparatory School in 1965.
Mr. Clark had been employed at SavMor Oil since 2000. Earlier, he had worked at Crane & Co. as a machine operator for many years.
He attended First Church of Christ, Congregational.
He leaves his fiancée, Pat Gero; a daughter, Atara Clark of Dalton; two brothers, Hilton E. Clark of Nashua, N.H., and Bruce P. Clark of Parish, Fla.; two sisters, Linda C. Bailey of Bangor, Maine, and Nancy J. Gordon of Dalton, and four grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for James G. Clark, who died Nov. 20, 2004, will be conducted tomorrow, Nov. 23, at 7 p.m. at BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, Dalton, by the Rev. Robert Kyte, pastor of First Congregational Church.
Calling hours will be tomorrow from 4 until the service at 7. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Ashuelot Cemetery, Dalton. Survivors also include his fiancée's children, daughter Tracy Gero and sons Christopher Gero and Mark Gero, all of Dalton.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Dalton Ambulance Fund or to the Berkshire Humane Society, both in care of the funeral home.
