Thaddeus Joseph Rupinski

Thaddeus Joseph Rupinski, 89, of 170 Cheshire Road died yesterday morning at Berkshire Medical Center.
He had been a patient at Craneville Place in Dalton for 10 months.
Born in Pittsfield on July 8, 1915, son of Peter and Helen Gramkowski Rupinski, he attended local schools.
Mr. Rupinski had been employed as a welder at GE for 37 1/2 years, retiring in 1976.
He was a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners' clubs.
He enjoyed antiques and antique shows until 1995.
His wife, the former Evelyn Tremblay, died April 30, 1984.
He leaves a son, Richard J. Rupinski of Woodstock, Conn.; a daughter, Judith A. Rupinski, with whom he made his home; three sisters, Helen Daly and Evelyn Galant, both of Pittsfield, Blanche Milukas of Pittsfield and Port Orange, Fla., a grandson and two great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Thaddeus Joseph Rupinski who died Thursday, Nov. 18, will be Sunday, Nov. 21, at 3 at the DERY FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. William D. Furey officiating. Following cremation, burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 1 to 3 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
He was predeceased by a brother, Romeo R. Rupinski, who died Dec. 2, 2003.
