Aurel M. "Hard Hat" Rouleau

Aurel M. "Hard Hat" Rouleau, 77, formerly of Rose Manor Apartments, died Thursday at Hillcrest Commons, where he had resided since 2001.
Born in Plattsburg, N.Y., on May 26, 1927, son of Edward G. and Emma F. Corron Rouleau, he attended schools there.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Rouleau was employed as a laborer at Lee Lime Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1992.
He enjoyed playing bingo and bike riding.
His former wife, Judith B. Alderman Converse, died Oct. 26, 2000.
He leaves two daughters, Ann L. Carbin of Stephentown, N.Y., and Carolyn B. Rouleau of Pittsfield; a brother, Alphadge Rouleau of Troy, N.Y., and four grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Aurel M. "Hard Hat" Rouleau, who died Nov. 11, 2004, will be conducted Thursday at 10:15 at Cemetery of the Evergreens, New Lebanon, N.Y. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, which is handling arrangements. He is lovingly survived by his four grandchildren, Allan Tatro III, Amber Tatro and Tiffany and Danielle Carbin.
