Dorothy Irene Hillmann, 87, died yesterday at Providence Care Center in Lenox, where she had resided for three years.
Born in Middletown Springs, Vt., on Aug. 26, 1917, daughter of Fred H. and Beatrice M. Parker Cone, she attended Vermont schools.
She was a longtime resident of Miami.
Mrs. Hillmann was employed as a telephone operator in New Hampshire, then by the former Miami Telephone Co., where she held an executive position until her retirement.
Her husband, Alfred E. Hillmann, whom she married August 1964, died in 1988.
She leaves a brother, William Williamson of Virginia, and a sister, B. Thelma Wheeler of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Dorothy I. Hillmann, who died Nov. 6, 2004, will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Burial will be in Vista Memorial Gardens in Hialeah, Fla. There will be no calling hours.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Providence Care Center in Lenox in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield 01201, which is handling the arrangements. Mrs. Hillman also is survived by three nieces, Dianne Brookman of Pittsfield, Joanne Kanyuk of Vacaville, Calif., and Dianne Lassiter of Virginia, and several grandnieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Frederick Williamson.
