Shirley K. Greenleaf

Shirley K. Greenleaf, 74, of 3F East Deming St. died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.

Born in Pittsfield on May 30, 1930, son of Robert J. and Lena Newberry Greenleaf, she was a 1948 graduate of St. Joseph's High School.

She resided in Dalton for most of her life.

Miss Greenleaf was employed by the former Eaton Paper Co. for 41 years, retiring in 1995.

She was a communicant of St. Agnes' Church and a member of AARP.

She leaves a sister, Bernice Book of Dalton.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Shirley K. Greenleaf died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at Berkshire Medical Center. The funeral will be tomorrow, Nov. 4, at 11 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at noon at St. Agnes' Church by the Rev. Christopher Malatesta, pastor. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery.

Calling hours will be today, Nov. 3, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Miss Greenleaf leaves nieces, Susan L., Shannon L. and Jodi Steele, all of Dalton, and a nephew, William Smith of Pittsfield. She enjoyed traveling and fishing with her great-nephew Michael Rigdon and her great-nieces, Autumn Steel and Breonna Rigdon.

She was predeceased by a sister, Beverly A. Smith, in 1997, and a brother, Robert F. Greenleaf, in 2002. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in care of the funeral home.
