Elizabeth C. Walsh

Elizabeth C. Walsh, 85, formerly of 34 Noblehurst Ave. and of Devonshire Estates, died Friday at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility, where she had resided since May 2002.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 29, 1919, daughter of Frederick R. and Ruth Carpenter Hoyt, she attended local schools.
Mrs. Walsh had been employed as a secretary by Dr. Lionel Cole for many years.
She had been an active member of South Congregational Church and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Her husband, Raymond K. Walsh, whom she married Nov. 17, 1936, died in 1972.
She leaves three sons, Thomas M. Walsh of Denmark, Maine, David H. Walsh of Jackson Hole, Wyo., and Daniel F. Walsh of Cheshire; two brothers, David Hoyt of Belgrade Lakes, Maine, and Robert Hoyt of Connecticut, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Elizabeth C. Walsh, who died Oct. 15, 2004, will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Maple Street Cemetery at a later date.
There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Bobby Kidney Sunshine Fund in care of WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
