Kathryn A. Krisenski

Kathryn A. Krisenski, 90, of 40 Sunset Ave., formerly of Holmes Road in Pittsfield, died Tuesday at Kimball Farms Nursing Center, where she had resided since January.
She had moved to Kimball Farms in 2003.
Born in Pittsfield on Jan. 4, 1914, daughter of J. Joseph and Helen LaBrode Mahanna, she was educated in Lenox schools and was a 1931 graduate of Lenox High School.
After her marriage in 1937, she moved to Pittsfield, then to Holyoke in 1945, returning to Pittsfield in 1960.
Mrs. Krisenski taught piano lessons in Lenox in the 1940s and in Pittsfield in the 1960s.
She was the organist at St. Ann's Church in Lenox and at St. Charles' Church in Pittsfield for many years, retiring in 1998. While in Holyoke, she was the organist at St. Jerome's Church.
Her husband, Anthony J. Krisenski, died Jan. 20, 1975.
She leaves a sister, Helen Wainess of West Lake Village, Calif.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Kathryn A. Krisenski will be Monday, Oct. 18, at 10 at St. Ann's Church. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations to St. Ann's Church Parish Center in care of the KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238. There will be no visiting hours. She also leaves three nephews and one niece.
She was predeceased by her brothers, William E. and John J. Mahanna.
